This small still life has an airy, uncomplicated feeling, with loose brushstrokes, simple forms and a gentle contrast between the crisp green fruit and pale patterned cloth.

I was especially drawn to the shifting greens, from bright and sharp to soft and muted, and the way they sit against the pale striped cloth.
